Which country is your Steam account registered in?

Steam charges a gift at the price of the receiving account's country, not ours. Pick the wrong one and the price won't match.

How do I find my Steam country? See steps

Open your Steam account details while signed in. Next to your balance, Steam shows your store country. (In the app: your name, top right → Account details.)
It's not where you live: it's the country the account is set to. If you never changed it, it's usually where you created it.

How do I receive the game?

To send you the game as a gift we need to be friends on Steam. We ask for your code at checkout; with it we send you the request (or you accept ours).

Fastest: open steamcommunity.com/my/friends/add while signed in: your friend code (numbers only) is shown there. Copy it and keep it handy for checkout.
In the Steam app: menu Friends → Add a Friend. Your code appears at the top.
Or your profile link: click your name (top right) → View my profile and copy the address. It works too.

Frequently asked questions

Why do you ask for my account's country?

Because Steam charges a gift at the price of the country of the account that receives it. With the wrong country, the price does not match.

How long does it take?

Usually within minutes, once your payment is confirmed, during support hours.

What if the Steam price changes while I decide?

We never charge you more than you saw: if the price goes up before you pay, we ask you to check it again.
